1-    Children may NOT SKIP grades and then be placed in                       their ‘old’ class group when they return. The program is progressive and builds on each year’s learning.

2-    Any child enrolling for 1st Reconciliation/1st Communion                    class in grade 2 must have COMPLETED grade 1.

3-    Children who skip Junior High grades 7 & 8 are not permitted to join Confirmation Preparation class unless they were enrolled in a Catholic School.

   4.    All children in Catholic Schools MUST ATTEND Sacramental Preparation classes in grades 2, 9 and 10. NO exceptions! Sacraments are parish experiences. They build on the faithful practice of the faith by coming regularly to Sunday Mass.

Thanks for your cooperation!

CATECHETICAL WEEKEND will be celebrated in our parish on the weekend of September 12th.  At all the masses that weekend our catechetical volunteers who teach a small group during the week and all our table leaders for our teen program on Sunday mornings will receive a special blessing and commissioning.

The theme for this year’s catechetical Sunday, picked by Pope Benedict, is “Matrimony- a Sign of God’s Enduring Love.”

Volunteers still needed: If you’d like to help out in the program, please see Bill Woodruff, Ryan Spooner or tell Fr. Moe or Deacon Bob after mass.

2010 SACRAMENTAL PHOTOS are in. If you have yet to pick your set up, please call Bill or Ryan at the office, ( 767-2567 to arrange a time for you to do so. They will be available at the rectory this week. You can pick them up there from 9 AM-4 PM.

Religious Ed teachers are needed.  If you are a parent of one of our children. please consider this important ministry in our church
